There’s been a massive surge in the popularity of sports technology with brands releasing innovative devices to fulfill all sporting needs and more. Activity trackers, sport watches and heart rate monitors range from humble options that count your steps, distance and a few other metrics right up to the most advanced models with GPS tracking, smartphone connectivity, huge amounts of measurements giving you the most detailed insight into your activities, sleep, daily habits, lifestyle and nutrition.

However, although many people wear sport watches to measure and track their fitness activities, they are also undoubtedly fashion accessories too. Whilst the functionality is key to finding the right piece of sports technology for you, looks are undoubtedly a big part of the consideration too.

So we’ve come up with a list of what we reckon are some of the best-looking sports watches, activity trackers and running monitors on the market.

The Loop and Loop 2 make this list for their simple yet stylish design. They offer a really good range of  functionality, especially considering the price, and their sleek but colourful styling is very effective.

The LED screen is a noticeable feature and adds to the minimalist looks. Plus, one of the best parts is the choice of colours which ensures find the one that best matches the rest of your workout gear or your clothing style!

The Moov Now has been revolutionising the world of activity tracking with its impressive 3D motion sensor that works with a number of different sports. Features and functionality aside, it’s how it looks that is also getting people excited.

You could say it has an even more minimalistic design than the Polar Loop. With no screen, you get the choice of background colours which add a touch of flair to the device. And we love its overall modern black styling with its holes on the front and strap giving texture and another dimension to this quality tracker.

We could have featured a lot of TomTom devices on this list as they produce some stunning models. However, if we had to pick just one it would have to be this Runner GPS sports watch in deep pink colour.

Its subtle yet eye-catching deep pink highlighting around the face and on the strap works perfectly with the strong, bold design of the rest of the watch. And the screen is also very attractive with its clear digits and square shape.

Despite saying we’d only include one TomTom, it would be impossible not to have the Polar A360 in this collection of beautiful sports tech.

The key to its good looks is, again, simplicity of design despite the fact that the watch itself is full of top-of-the-range functions.

The way the screen tapers off into the strap is incredibly pleasing and gives it a smooth appearance. And the A360 comes in both black and white (small, medium and large sizes too) which are both equally attractive.

The Ambit3 from Suunto is definitely one of the best and has a number of different variations and colour schemes. Our favourite, however, has to be this version.

The silicone strap have a lovely clear white colour and overall it looks very uncomplicated with a thicker frame around the face which has exquisite salmon pink detailing surrounding it.
